Successfully dealt with a wide range of complex and high profile planning applications and regeneration schemes, including a major regeneration project that included the refining and upgrading of Greenwich Market/Town Centre (a World Heritage Site), successfully navigated a highly controversial planning application for a new IKEA store in the Greenwich Peninsula area of London through the Planning System.  Secured planning permission for a new retail complex in Charlton, London, and have successfully dealt with a significant number of high and low density housing schemes in across London and the south east of England. 1 Church Path, Wanstead, London

Provides planning and architectural support and close partnership working with Planning and Projects (based in London –, most recently Arch Planning produced the supporting planning report for a scheme in Wanstead, London (1 Church Path, E11 2SS) for the demolition and retention of the existing industrial building and construction of 6 luxury style apartments, consisting of 1 x 1 bed, 4 x 2 bed and 1 x 3 bed units.  Below is a CGI image of the scheme produced by Planning and Projects.

1 Dyers Hall Road, Leyton, London

In November 2016 JRS Planning secured planning permission on appeal for a new three-bedroom dwelling house including loft conversion with roof extension.  The clients, Mr and Mrs Waterworth expressed their absolute adulation with the decision and service received from JRS Planning in the following testimonial:

Hammersmith, London - Mid Terrace Dwelling House

After a 10-month battle with the Local Planning Authority, and an unsuccessful appeal (different architectural consultancy), this client, in desperate need of more space due to a growing family, appointed JRS PLANNING & ARCHITECTURE to design a pod dormer extension that would meet the clients’ needs AND be acceptable to the LPA Planners.  This well-designed pod dormer, to sit on-top of the existing two storey rear outrigger of property, will link up with the existing rear dormer to create a high-quality internal space.  Following successful collaboration between client, planner, architect and LPA planners, it took JRS PLANNING & ARCHITECTURE just 6 weeks to get the planning application approved!

North East London - Beautiful new 6-bedroom dwelling house with full basement and car lift - Conservation Area

The client appointed Arch PLANNING & ARCHITECTURE to design a new dwelling that would fit into the unique character and appearance of the Wanstead Village Conservation Area in London. The client approached ARCH PLANNING & ARCHITECTURE following an unsuccessful previous attempt from a different consultancy at obtaining planning permission for a replacement dwelling on the site.  The Consultants at ARCH PLANNING & ARCHITECTURE immediately undertook an in-depth study of the unique characteristics of the conservation area and allowed these fundamentals to guide them to ultimately come up with this immaculately designed 6 bedroom detached dwelling house, that will neatly fit into this sensitive conservation area context.  The new dwelling will include a sunken garage to provide access to a large basement garage, as well as an entertainment area and gym/spa room.  On ground, first and second floors (respectively) will be the living spaces plus a total of 6 spacious bedrooms.

Oakleigh Avenue, Whetstone, North London – Renovation project including large ground floor rear extension and loft conversion – detached dwelling

ARCH PLANNING & ARCHITECTURE was appointed to prepare the final drawings including detailed internal and external computer generate images (CGI’s) of a complete renovation on this property in Oakleigh Avenue, Whetstone, North London.  The client acquired the property in a dilapidated state and instructed ARCH PLANNING & ARCHITECTURE to advise on internal layout and external alterations/finishing details.  Our highly trained and talented Architectural Consultant prepared these external and internal CGI’s of what the finished product will look like.  The client used these images for marketing purposes whilst building works are continuing on site.
